First, we will discuss the definition of sending blessings upon the Prophet (PBUH) and its importance:
The phrase ‘Send blessings upon Muhammad’ means: The prayer from Allah is mercy, from the angels is forgiveness, and from humans is supplication. When it is said that the angels sent blessings upon him, it means they sought forgiveness for him. When it is said that the preacher sent blessings upon him, it means he prayed for him. Allah has said in His Book “It is He who sends blessings upon you, and His angels [do so], that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And ever is He, to the believers, Merciful.” (Surah Al-Ahzab, 43)
The prayer of Allah upon His Prophet Muhammad is His praise upon him and His praise of him in the presence of the angels. It has been reported that the best form of sending blessings upon the Prophet is the second part of the Tashahhud: ‘O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. And bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, in the world. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.’ This form of prayer is comprehensive in sending blessings and peace upon the best of those who have ever walked the earth, peace and blessings be upon him.”

Then ask Allah to grant me the position of al-Waseelah, for it is a status in Paradise that is not appropriate for anyone except a servant of Allah, and I hope that I am that servant. If Allah wills, He will punish them, and if He wills, He will forgive them.”
